I used to wear the Adrenalines as well as the Asics 2130 (?). Never had any complaints (well except one pair of Adrenalines pushed a little into my ankle for some reason and took awhile for them to break-in) and consider these shoes a reference for a normal stability training shoe.
I tried the Brooks Trance once, and then got swayed by a lot of the "minimalism" discussions. So I have taken a half step towards minimalism and most of my shoes are lightweight or performance trainers, like the Asics DS Trainer and the Nike Air Zoom Elite.
I also rotate between several models regularly, on the belief that even if one shoe is bad, I won't injure myself, because I'm not wearing them everyday, but maybe once or twice a week.
Questions for Brooks fans: Does Brooks make a lightweight or performance training shoe? (Is the Axiom a lightweight traininer?) Why do they make two racing shoes (ST racer and the T6 racer)?
