i wish ritz best of luck.

This is how rumors get started. No other information has been published yet.

Actually this is far more than a rumor. Time will prove that this has substance. There is no talk about a coach but there is more than a little talk about returning to Michigan.
Rohat just left sal.

Then link to or at least cite the source. Else it's only a rumor.
With due respect to Hudson,i think Ritz made the right decision.Infact i suspect it probably was a joint decision between the coach and the athlete.Ritz had reached a plateau and was being plaqued by recuring injuries which indicate that there was something that needs to be changed in the training routine. When such a situation occurs it is better to seek a new approach than persist with old ways and remain stuck.Ritz still has the motivation to progress in his career therefore change of coach is least likely to harm his career.

Ritz just signed the 100k deal with the hansons.
That is 100% untrue. I know nothing about Hansons.
However, those that want a link to the return home story, are ridiculous. There is no story. He specifically told me that he wanted to return home and looked at property on his last return. I was simply defending whoever else posted about returning to Michigan. I would rather he stay here in Eugene as I consider him a friend.
Like Simon Bairu the last four years.
Doubt it was a mutual decision at all.

RTI, what' with you critiquing everything you can. You might as well get a middle schooler to write an essay and turn it into to you so you can critique that.
Oh.

Why he'd return to Michigan.

Hudson gets a lot of crap on here. I don't know the inside story so maybe some of it is deserved. I would like to commend him for the classy way he handled the departure. Contrast that statement to the Cook/Donahue breakup. This is what a professional should say.
Yes, this is how all professional "break ups," resignations, departures, parting of ways are handled statement wise.
As someone who has been on a executive board, it is just so interesting the first time you hear to parties agree to release such statements.
The thing that is lacking in these statements... The thing that is sacrificed is usually the truth. There are of course obvious reasons...such as not risking lawsuits, agreeing to "part nice" in order to receive a certain pay out, parting package, exit compensation etc.
In our law suit happy society, no one can just tell the truth. So and so was a jerk, so and so was unethical etc.
I think the one exception in US and UK society is when rock/pop bands break up and spill the dirt beyond "artistic differences"
The beauty of this "sytem" is that no one has to see their dirty laundry aired in public... Which is a good thing, especially if parties learn a valuable lesson from the parting. Sometimes it the partings are completely amicable, and it is/was just time to make a change. That may be the case in this situation... Time to make a change...for completely benevelant reasons. No need to look for "more" there.
Hopefully that is the case here, for both parties.

How would they factor into a decision to change coaches and possibly move?
