Dunbar ran the 9-flat snow race after a full summer of training and came right before the end of an incredibly successful (and uninterrupted) cross-country season.
The track season is just kicking off. Yes, Arcadia Invite is huge, but Penn Relays haven't happened yet. Major state meets are two months away. If he's training for NON, he's got a lot of time left this spring.
You're assuming he performs substantially better at those meets. I hope he does, and when he does I'll give him all the praise he deserves. In the meantime, it looks like he's performing up to (and not beyond) expectations.
