The Original post is a lie. Go to velonews.com and look at the pictures and stories and you will see. There was no "uphill race".
Bruyneel does say that Armstrong is in the top-3, which surprised me. Contador and Leipheimer are always in top shape and very fit. Levi won ATOC in February, 3rd in TdG and the Dauphine', then an Olympic medal in August and then 2nd at the Vuelta.
So if Lance really is going that well, and that isn't just hyperbole, then that is good news. If you look at the photos, however, he looks MUCH heavier than the rest. Now I know that he used to race at 158 and Contador and Leipheimer are both shorter and about 135, but he definitely looks heavier than somebody who is supposedly sticking it to the rest of the team.
