Thank you. The calculator was developed with the help of a physics professor and math professor at the UofM; both are runners. We are in the process of making a chart with the same info on it for running stores and rehab centers. They wanted something that they don't have to go to the computer to get answers.
The Shoe Odometer isn't for everyone. It's mostly for those of us who don't like to log their shoe miles, but appreciate not having to guess. As a coach I only had a few runners that logged their shoe miles, most didn't like the hassle.
I'm getting a lot of good feedback about the stride rate. People who've never kept track of their stride rate are finding it beneficial. They like that it's automatic and records every run.
