Thats amazing. You have to get your countries National record before you can compete on the international level. Representing you nation and being it's champion is an honor, not a meaningless accomplishment. You mean to tell me that Sullivan's National Record in the mile & 1500 means nothing to him? It means nothing to you?
The mile is the event that brought running to the forefront in the minds of the world. The mile is rarely run in the US as well, why don't you get with it.
