did you take the SATs in English? (I assume you did). Did that lower your scores at all? I could see that changing things.
I'm fluent in English so it's not really a problem.
You can apply to Faber College in Pennsylvania (although it looks like the University of Oregon). I went there, where I ran and pledged Delta Tau Chi.
um, the SAT's are scored out of 1600, so a score of 1650 is impossible to achieve.

Seriously I thought the SATs were out of 1600
Also I thought they were just taken in the States

not anymore. the new SAT score system is totally different. I think 1800 is the highest you can get now. so, a 1650 is like a 1300 for someone from the 1990's.
0/10
SAT is out of 1600. They don't offer extra credit, n00b.

Virginia Intermont
You can get into Intermont with a 2.2 -_-
They don't have running there anymore anyways.
If you are an internationl student coming to the States from high school you have to take the SATs. There is a loop hole in that if you are already at university and decide to transfer over, then you don't have to take the SAT at all. There are typically offices in most major cities around the world and I think you might be able to do them at the local US consulate too. SAT scores changed over recent years. It is now up to 2400 so 1650 is possible.
Seems you are reasonably smart from your score so look for a school with a good track/xc program as well as a school with a good academic program. Otherwise you could end up graduating with a degree that means nothing back home and you will have essentually wasted your time studying over in the states.
Do you have an e-mail that you could be contacted at? I know of a school that would be a great fit for you.
my email is:
Try BYU

Hey man, be careful over here because the drinks are like six dollars forty at the discotheques.
Dallas Baptist University would be perfect for you.
QUICK! EVERYONE SAY WHAT COLLEGE THEY GO TO!
d2/3 is definitely not an option.
I need a school that is world-renowned
But thats to everyone who has offered serious input so far.
Cal- Berkeley. really good middle distance, good xc, and great academics. great location as well.
Arizona State is also a really good middle distance school with a great coach, good xc. academics arent very good though. good location for running.
Villanova is very good all around in xc and track. o'sullivan is a legendary coach. middle distance is really strong, very good school. location is ideal for running though.
Georgetown is a great school as well, with great middle distance and really good xc. location not great either.
