Why, are you and your family going to be there?
i doubt it. what does that have to do with anything?
AWESOME fact from bob costas: baku, azerbaijan made a bid to host 2016
why does puerto rico get a team? it's not a country.
are you serious?
because it is not a state either.
yes, why not just let california have a team?
they showed a close up of Paul Tergat!! when the kenyans were walking they showed a close up of him and said hes one of the greatest runners of all time!!!
but they compared him to kiptanui and somebody else. i didnt like that.
dont be surprised if he suts up for the marathon. he just hasnt gotten muc publicity lately because hes been swampped with assisting hurricane myanmar victims.
the president of kenya athletics has already granted his olympic eligibility, becauseits not his fault he was absent for the trials. the president knows hes the fastest marathoner in the world, and he was busy doing a good deed for humanity.
I want to see Jenny B.!!!!

jennie finch has aged like a fine wine since athens.
It is impossible to ignore China's raw exercise of power as reflected by these ceremonies. China has put on an impressive show, but China has a long way to go before it ever joins the ranks of democratic nations. The New Republic had an excellent article on China's arts a month ago. It concluded that while all kinds of art - music - film - painting - sculpture - is flowing from China - it is in one way or another a form of propaganda. Ditto for these ceremonies. I don't mean to be too harsh on China - the Olympics may be a bellweather in terms of their ascension to democracy, and their state controlled capitalism will likely make individual property rights and the freedoms associated with them more prominent, but I watch these games with a measure of caution and trepidation.
there was only a glimpse of christian smith...but he looked beautiful with a clean shave!
