-for one thing, i cannot wait until the high schools are back in session so i don't have to listen to these kinds of joker posters (who uses the word noob that is older than 16?). so if wejo isn't implying abusing meds, then what is it? he is implying that rupp's application of the meds is not for the intended use by the manufacturer- i.e. hypothyroidism and asthma. THAT is abuse of medications. so if rupp does in fact have problems with asthma or his thyroid, then why make a big deal about it? is it an advantage that he has a low functioning thyroid gland or reactive airway disease? no way! give me a break! does he make comments on an athlete who is diabetic and gets to use insulin? insulin acts on the same receptors as growth hormone! maybe you should pull your head out of your butt the next time you attempt to bash someone on reading comprehension. you= think a little bit before you write next time. it will serve you well in life.
Ok....
let's step back and look at the context of the quote. He's talking about advantages Galen has that other runners aren't so lucky to have. Why then would he switched mid-sentence to insinuate that Galen's abusing his medication?
Wejo's obviously saying that Galen unlike some people can afford proper medication. I bet there are many a runner around the world who cannot afford proper health care or frequent visits to doctors for such conditions. Somehow a few of you have twisted that around to make this HUGE debacle where there isn't one.
oh good one... n00b... must be a high school kid. Great put down, you really got me. Do you get that riled up about posts that you start calling other people high school kids? Chill out man, seems like you're the one that should grow up.
And to the grammar Nazi...
Med is an abbreviation. I was just highlighting that I had shortened the word. like Ballin' or RBI's. Is that proper English? I don't know and don't care. I'm sure 99/100 readers knew what I was saying.
