trollism,
I know you're not unintelligent because you use reasoning in your posts. But I think you're reasoning is wrong, in that you begin with your conclusion ('everyone who is at the top cheats') and then try to look for evidence for it.
Don't get me wrong, there are people that have (so far) evaded testing positive (look at a couple of those European record holders...). But the Ethiopians are not in that group. They have everything going for them. Their environment and their resulting physiology makes them ideal for being top class distance runners, and their lifestyle facilitates it further.
I am really curious: what would it take for you to change your mind on these guys? Because once you have convinced yourself of something despite any possible further evidence, you're no longer thinking rationally. I'm so confident that Geb is 100% natural that I'd bet my life on it without hesitation. But I could be convinced of otherwise through a positive test, an admission of guilt, etc. So what would it take to change your mind on this? I'm really curious given that your reasoning is only based on a) the educational background of their coaches (which is nothing special), b) the fact that others have evaded drug tests in the past (which means Ryan Hall is just as likely to be a liar and a cheat as Gebrselassie) and c) how good they are (Hall is as good as them in the half and full).
