ok thanks for the serious responses. I personally feel like if I am running alone then it requires more energy to hit the same pace. Whether it just feels that way or if it is actually true I guess can be debatable. I have to do the majority of training on my own but if I ever get to do a workout with someone I can do it MUCH faster at the same effort(or at least it feels).

Your dad is a mechanic so you understand the complexity of fatigue? As if the brain has anything to do with the physiology of the body...what a completely ridiculous concept, right?
Pick up a physiology book and refresh your memory on the mechanisms involved with a muscle contraction. As if action potentials could actually be regulated by the CNS...it's fricken laughable.
Everyone knows that we slow down because the pH level in the muscle increases. And everyone knows that the internal feedback system is limited to the tissues. As if the brain and the tissues would actually communicate with each other!
I know i know. You run so you're automatically in tune with what's going on inside your body on the biochemical level.
? What's sarcasm and what are you claiming to know about muscle physiology? I promise there are people on this board that know more about fatigue than you, so try a little humility.
And try to be a little nicer, eh?
BREAKING: Athing Mu running 800m in Gainesville on Friday at Holloway Pro Classic
Jakob chugs almost an entire 32-oz sports drink in 6 seconds during interview
I don't believe Jakob is clean. injured and runs 3:26.7 a bit later?
After Jakob's 3:26, Kerr's chance of winning in Paris has INCREASED
Can we talk about how crazy hard this Olympic marathon course is?
