30:00, ran in new Loco Banditos. Interesting feeling flat. Good forefoot cushioning, to be honest.
Yesterday was 15:00 with 4x1-minute pickups.
Sunday was a brand-new, local, low-key 5K where I got 3rd in the 50-59 age group. A boost to the ego.

50' hilly run ending at the local swimming hole...a bit brisk in the H2O, but very refreshing.
Yesterday, no run.
Today; Varied pace running for 34:14. Easy warm up, surges, tempo pace, quick leg turn overs, jog warm down. AHR 140 MHR 159.
Robin's running is terrible. Robin has been sick and can't seem to get well. Robin usually runs from 50-70 MPW but lately can barely finish a slow 4-miler. Robin recently changed usernames out of frustration and boredom. It does not seem to be helping Robin very much.
92 over last 6 days...
Today-
Am- 30 easy, PM 1 mile 6:34--10 miles @ 54:20, 1 mile-6:30
15 minutes total, the first 5 felt cruddy so I switched to 30-second pickups, 15-30 second recovery.
I was pressed for time today.
Felt sluggish when I started, this sort of workout (30/30)usually enables me to salvage something & get a decent effort of some sort in.
Easy 30 minutes yesterday. Not sure yet what today has in store.
Wednesday: cycle (20mins) warmup, 4x1500m in at 3:40/km pace, 2 minute rest with "Leprotti" at Paolo Rosi track. Stretch.
Thursday: cycle commute
Friday: they delivered our new kitchen; powerlifting up the stairs (HEAVY!) bike commute to work. Am pretty shagged. No pain, no pain.
Tmw: tempo at the track while kids do their fun session, i imagine...
Hard swim session this morning. Easy 5-mile run tonight.
This swimming/biking is getting in the way of my running. :)
on grass, 20 min warmup with a budy, 20 mins kenyan diagonals, quick cool down stretching, felt great
Yesterday (Friday) no run.
Today; out & back for 43:00 min., easy up towards Uplands N. gate for 21:18 HR 131, back in 18:54. HR 146. Almost 2 1/2 min. quicker (was the plan). Continued to end of road for the 43 minutes. AHR 139 MHR 155

6Km fun run in the park, a lot of gravel, roots, pine cones, stones, ecc. slow, putzing around, sunny and cool, very enjoyable to look at races from bakc of the pack...

(Humming "You're So Vain" while typing....)
Thanks for the great posts special O2, vic, glory days, Yank, Robin, Hammy, the point, u.k. master, noname, and flamingo. You're all doing a great job. We've kept this thread 99% pure and informative. Keep up the great work!
After a short respite to give my knee some much needed rest, I was back on track (acutally soft grass) this weekend to the tune of 40 minutes and a few strides. I am happy to report that all went well! Maybe I can get back on the real track soon. Here's hoping....
