DQ official
This thread was started before the race was run. We have changed the title now that the US has lost.
DQ official
Choke choke choke
welp, maybe in LA?
Americans continue to be perpetually bad at handovers......
Even the women were bad, but that was comical with the men.
When the jamaicans were dominating, they had on top of that great handovers.
China is laughing with the medal table.
High school teams are better then that!!!! the 100's guys need to check the EGOS, these guys are garbage
Lindsay got subbed for this lmao.
Losing a full second on a handoff is crazy ngl. Thats almost dropped baton kind of time loss
So disappointing.
Kenny went wayyyyyy too early. These guys are an absolute embarrassment. Every single year it’s sloppy handoffs. I swear these guys don’t practice handoffs, at all.
id rather bring a juco squad at the Olympics than watch garbage like this again.
Ato Bolden when asked what he thinks is happening with this relay "I don't know anymore."
Sums it up
As my wife pointed out, surely they had to scramble the lineup because Lyles was missing. Probably not many reps with the combo.

That was a textbook example of how not to run a relay. Two of the three exchanges were about as bad as one could do it.
What in the world?! I really really really hate to see this curse extended. So so bad.

Did they drop the baton or exchange out of the zone already?
At least let them get the warm ups on before the DQ.
Ok. NOW the DQ has been earned again.
It's wild how consistently garbage the US is at handoffs year in and year out. Do they practice at all?
It doesn't take that many practice sessions to understand handoffs lmao so embarrassing.

Which is why they should’ve stuck with the heats lineup. They ran 37.4 with a very safe Fred pass.
How does this keep happening? Just ridiculous.
Insane, was Kerley originally going to do leg 2 or 3?
Coaching mistake for changing order if they did.
Second big relay mistake (4 x 400 prelim was bad-just not this bad)
I'll be happy to coach them. Or choke them.
They gather 4 guys who only train at the Olympics. In college they were all anchors.
And it has to be mentioned...they do not appear to be the brightest bulbs

It doesn’t matter who is in the lineup. When the runner in front passes a certain point, you go…..these guys either don’t listen or just take matters into their own hands which continues to prove disastrous.
Imagine losing to china in a the 4x100 with coleman, bednarek and kerley on your team
lmao

I would think Coleman/Bednarek would’ve been the first two anyway though, right? Noah would be 3rd or 4th leg?
Time to consider a dedicated 4 x 100 relay team made up of guys not competing in the 100 or 200.
Cole Hocker to Nike: "Yesterday's price is not today's price"
Seratiwa Tebogo, Letsile Tebogo's mother, unfortunately passes away
Wow. How NOT to run a 4 x 100. US men's medal drought in 4 x 100 is now going to extend to 24 years
