Noah speaks: says he’s never been more proud of himself for winning bronze with covid
There you have it. He’s not devastated at all. He’s proud of himself. As he should be. Gold in the 100 and bronze in the 200 with covid. Well done and congratulations, Noah!

I don't really know what you mean by that, but the last time I had Covid it was because (I think) someone I work with came to work sick. Certainly they are in closer quarters pre-race than I am with any of my co-workers.
Tobago killed it and eased off at the end. Good chance he beats even a fully healthy Lyles today, but it was very clear to any non-internet-troll that watched the last two days that something was wrong with Lyles.
I agree with most of this, I thought while not visibly struggling , his heats all looked non dominant? I do think normally he could run 19:40? Or would have thought?
this guy lol biggest narc i have ever seen hes the best in the world when he wins and when he loses theres some excuse. sir you got destroyed
Agree. Knew when he lost the excuses were going to come rolling in. You lost. Got your butt kicked AGAIN in the oly 200 final. Hard to root for this guy.

I'm interested in where Bruns "studied" virology if this is his level of understanding how airborne diseases spread
I'm sure he's sick and it impacted his performance today. That being said, he's only run faster than Tebogo's 19.45 once in his career, and Tebogo left a little time on the table celebrating. Would've likely been extremely close regardless. Also the wheelchair is hilariously dramatic.
Lyles’ mom confirmed to NBC that Lyles was diagnosed with COVID. He was unable to stand after the 200m final and was reeled away in a wheelchair.
Yeah, right. He was jumping and zipping around like a banshee before the start, then required a wheelchair. LMFAO Watch him immediately after the race - nothing at all wrong with him other than a deflated ego.
Looks like he will have to book double sessions with his therapist before the 4x100.
