Cat sitter? WTF is that?? If I was one, I would certainly not tell anyone, that will be embarrassing af!
I thought part of the benefit of getting cats was so your don’t need a sitter. Dogs eat everything , poop everywhere, and eat their own poop; fish die; iguanas escape, hamsters run themselves to death, parrots commit suicide. Cats live off the land like Rambo. They eat what they need to, relieve themselves with dignity, and attack with little warning from any angle like a great guerrilla fighter of old.

My friends have diabetic cats, and need someone to shoot insulin in them when they go out of town and leave the cat behind.
ANYWAY ... Shelby doesn't want to work a "normie" job or Nike is paying her under the table.
I'd like to know what she did with that gofundme money.
It's an interesting interview. She seems to have known the interview before, so there is some good dialogue. She mentions that she lives a very nomadic life. She left Oregon once her Bowerman friends moved to Eugene and she had a romantic breakup. She's spent time in Iowa, Phoenix, Flagstaff, etc. She lived a van life for a couple months and spends a lot of times camping. She trains "80%"
Enjoyed this interview. I feel for the girl, you can tell she’s been through some real sh*t and she keeps going and refuses to be destroyed by it. She seems to have a good support system and makes a point of saying, I can’t imagine what it would like if I didn’t have that support.
I wish her well and will cheer her return. Let’s not forgot that no matter what happened, this is a human being.
How many of ya'll were wishing that she did this podcast elsewhere... so that she would have the opportunity to go home devastated after doing the podcast?

she's a human being with a college education and chose to dope her way to 10 us titles and 2 american records anyway. she could have done anything but instead she chose to cheat.
I don't wish ill will on her, but I don't want her competing and stealing attention after she cheated.
It’s not as if she wasn’t punished. She missed two Olympics, lost her job, is regularly hated on, continues to be hated on, will be hated on upon her return.

I thought of that and give my post an asterisk. If you need someone to administer insulin by syringe, there are certain people that night be good at that.
…one for you, one for me…

This doesn’t sound like “calling out” Letsrun. This board is the place we go to openly talk about these things and it’s true that if I have something negative to say about a runner, I’ll say it here and not on their Instagram.
I use rover (the app) to have someone check my senior chat while im on longer vacations. It's not a real job. This chick stops by for 20 minutes and makes $30 bucks or so, she does it in between her real job because she doesn't make much doing her real job.
i actually find Shelby honest and likeable in this interview.
She doesn’t do any of that nonsense of coming in with talking points, and staying on her talking points.
The interviewer asked her if her ban has helped her deepen her faith in any way, or find greater purpose. She said, it’s pretty much a No — she wasn’t very religious to begin with and the last three years hasn’t made her some great believer either.
The interviewer asked her if she’s had to take low-wage jobs to get by, and she said she’s delivered DoorDash for extra money, but has mostly tried to live on next to nothing, by staying with family during this time, cat sitting when she can, and renting out her place in Oregon.
