If women have a problem with it they should speak up.
I never heard a woman complain about it so I assume they see no problem with trans in women sports.
Women are not afraid to speak up and fight for their rights.
Don't move a finger. It's a women's issue.
Are you saying men should be allowed to beat up women so long as the women don't complain about it?
How dumb are you? Nobody is allowed to just beat up anybody. They both agreed to participate and are wearing headgear with gloves. Women spar with men all the time.
Imagine hating women so much that you pretend to be one just to gain access to an arena where you can legitimately knock them unconscious and be praised for it.

Save it for someone else.
It's unfair and wrong. I don't need to be convinced, otherwise.
You're cool with men beating women, that's on you. Whatever you need to tell yourself to square it away in your own head has no impact on this issue.

Many do, and they get cancelled for it. Read up on Inga Thompson for instance. Hell, read up on the 7th grade girls in West Virginia who got KICKED OUT OF THEIR OWN SPORT (throwers in junior high T&F) because they wouldn’t throw against a boy.
Intersex, not trans. It’s something that has historically always existed (look at Babe Didrickson). We just have the tech to identify it now. With that new understanding it is reasonable to regulate it. Athletics has taken measures to allow for XX athletes to compete on a level playing field. Other sports: boxing and soccer have taken a different approach in order to be “inclusive”. It is up to the individual governing bodies.
I find it interesting that nobody was complaining about her when she lost in the 2020 Olympics to another woman. I also find it interesting that anyone would think that Algeria of all countries would allow a trans athlete to compete - if you believe that, you need to read the CIA World Factbook on Algeria.
I find this thread to be extremely disgusting. She isn't a man - she was born a biological woman but has elevated testosterone levels that the IOC says are within their proscribed limits. She is legally a woman in Algeria, and it's designated as such on her passport. The IBA is a corrupt organization that claims she has XY chromosomes but has never provided evidence of this. I'm sorry she isn't the model of femininity that the manly men of LETSRUN.COM expect in all the hot chicks they're supposedly banging when they're on their business trips to Ottawa, but the concept of masculinity/femininity isn't as simple as you wish it were.
Don't worry though - the ones of you protesting so much will be able to return to your secret admiration of trans women as soon as the election is over and Fox News can leave this ginned up controversy behind and move on to outrage over the next President's Spring wardrobe choices.

Um, from everything I read, it appears she was born/raised as female but revealed to have XY chromosomes.
You have a made up narrative and ignore facts to push it. Not sure what the answer is but bullying someone born intersex doesn’t seem like the best option.
I sympathize with any athletes with an intersex or related condition: they didn't grow up knowingly pulling a fraud, and had no reason to think they weren't female. But once their condition is discovered, it's hard to continue sympathizing. When you have the UK Olympic committee telling qualified athletes they can't participate because reasons, when Nigeria forgets to enter an athlete and she's told she's out of luck as a result, when you have an endless history of politically-motivated decisions in the Games... it seems odd that we can't make the obvious decision to tell a man he can't keep competing against women, even if he had believed he was a woman before. It sucks for the male athlete but someone has to be brave enough to explain to him what the situation is and why his participation is no longer possible. But no one has the guts to stand up on these 21st-century gender issues.

Media is misreporting this issue, leading to ignorance.
According to the IBA, the Algerian Boxer (Khelif) failed a gender test. This means she has 46 XY chromosomes in each cell. Which means Khelif is a biological male who went through male puberty.
Semenya is barred from the Olympics , not because of IOC rules but because the IOC recognizes World Athletics as the legitimate organization that runs track and field. So they follow track and field rules.
Unfortunately the IOC does not recognize the IBA nor any other boxing body. So they use IOC rules for boxing. And the IOC rule is that you must participate according the gender specified on your passport.
This means even though Khelif is a biological male, they are are allowed to box against women which is madness/

Yep, this whole story has been blown up by the usuals (on here and other places) as some sort of trans emergency.
It's clearly a Semenya type situation rather than a Lia Thomas.
That said, they need to get the rules in order to stop it, but as we've seen - it gets messy when it comes to intersex rules.
I try to avoid this topic, but I have seen this covered extensively already, by outlets that usually avoid this topic as well.
There is a lot of nuance to this situation but I think this might propel the conversation to a larger audience.
She is also acting it up to avoid taking the loss. But it is a loss anyways. Women can deliver KO blows. What the Italian absorbed was not a KO blow. I watched a bunch of 12-yo in Football practice last night. There was some pushing, shoving and tackles. It was supposed to be touch. Olympic Boxing, even for women, is not limited to TOUCH.
The Algerian should not be part of this competition but the Italian is definitely over-dramatizing it. Bet she will now be an advocate for women's competition where she "can use her platform" and give up boxing. She was never a boxer. Looser, sure but boxer, no.
