I have Peacock, there was no split screen for the men's 800 final free. They went to break, came back with roughly 130 meters to go. It's absurd. Let's not forget they had an interview with the sister during the first part of the race with a small section of the screen to watch race....
Yes, NBC/Peacock it's not going to matter. You can bet they're going grease in at least one commercial in the steeple and 5000, probably three in the 10000.
Hey, let's not get too greedy here. Are you literally complaining about ONLY seeing 12+ laps of the 10k and 7+ laps of the 5k? I'm as big a distance fan as you'll find, and I don't even need to see the first 12 laps of the 10k or 5 laps of the 5k. I'll take half of each and be just fine!
Remember...those annoying ads pay the bills so we can watch something. Beggars can't be choosers!
I paid the $7.99 for Peacock. The marathon is on at 2am my time, but I assume I can watch the replay later in the day? I will just have to avoid any news coverage of it before I get a chance to watch it.
Peacock has virtually all Olympic events live with replays available after. I assume it will be the same for Athletics, given the fairly low cost I don’t know what one could possibly complain about.

I paid $5.99 in June for Peacock to watch some of the Diamond League meets. Then, a month later, I went to cancel it and they gave me an offer of $1.99/month for 6 months. Try cancelling your subscription and see if you get the same offer.

You need to be off the grid. No electronics PERIOD. Algorithms will push content to you (youtube, insta, x, etc), web splash pgs will be flush with news, message boards will be messaging, thumbnails will have pictures of arms in air, etc.
peacock is a dream come true for T&F fans. the cut in stuff will never be ideal, but what you get for the money is a dream come true.
i am so sad about them losing the diamond league to flo next year. it's a real tragedy.
Correction: It was a dream come true before they cut the World Feed and started force-feeding us the NBC feed, which had many ads that blocked it from covering the field events or distances races properly. They also didn't staff up the commentary a good bit, so you'd have Trey Hardee doing his best to call distance events and so on.
