I like to head to the track, blindfold myself and TT a 400. It is a quick test of my muscle memory and ability to connect with my other senses. However, currently injured because of some hurdles.
8k cruise with some mates. Summer evening, say 6pm, 25C, clear skies. Split shorts, shirtless, sunnies. The dream.
Low 60s/high 50s with a light drizzle in the beginning and the sun poking it's head out after a few mile warmup, early in the fall after a summer of hard training in the heat and humidity.
I prefer to do tempo run. It is good balance between challenging myself and not going maximum speed. I usually run about 6 to 8 miles, which is enough to make me feel the exercise but not so long that I am very tired afterward. For weather, I prefer cool morning something like 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit is perfect for me. It feels refreshing and keeps me energized throughout. I wear light shirt and shorts that keep me dry. My favorite shoes are comfy running ones, which let my feet usually breathe with good support and able to bend easily.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
