FEMKE IS NOT WINNING IN PARIS. HOPE AND PRAY ALL YOU WANT, ITS NOT HAPPENING.
It's easy to say this, you have a 50/50 chance of being right and you're anonymous and no one will remember that you said it.
And your all CAPS makes you look Trumpian. Lol
You’re right, it’s easy to say that, but that’s in large part because he has much better than a 50/50 chance of being right. It’s like saying the odds of any outcome is 50/50 because either it’ll happen or it won’t. I would guess that Femke has maybe a 15% chance of winning in Paris, and that might be generous. Coming back to gloat about being right here would be like saying “I TOLD YOU KEVIN DURANT WOULD MAKE THAT FREE THROW.”
maybe 0.1-0.2 seconds. I can't imagine it makes much of a difference.
This was a local, low key meet with no competition. Given Bol's consistency she's going to be faster than this in a more competitive environment. I'd also point out her training partner, Klaver set a PB on Friday as well. Both are entering their speed phase of training.

Femke has never been close to Sydney's times before this. Very sus.
She changed her stride pattern, Femke will hold the world record 2 years from now. Until then Syd is queen.
Femke has finally gotten the 14-stride pattern down through 7 hurdles. That’s the jump here. No stutter stepping, just full strides all the way through 400m.
Syd already had this.
I don’t think for a second Syd loses in Paris, but at least it could be an interesting race now. It’s great to have more than one pushing past boundaries.
I’ll be rooting for Sydney for the win because she I support Team U.S.A. However, I’d like both to push each other to new world records. Honest rivalries are good for the sport.

Nice to see her preparing to run for silver in Paris as she always does. European records are irrelevant, let's see if she overcome one major hurdle and in the process actually break a world record.
None of your little quibbles points to diddly squat
ACTUALLY she had a +2 m/s tailwind in the first half of the race and around the halfway point the wind magically turned 180 degrees which allowed her to run this quickly

We just saw the WR holder in the men's 400h lose to the silver medallist.
