I’m curious what gains she can make at her age. Eyestone must see still room for improvement to take her on.
I'm just a jerk on a keyboard, what do I know. But shoot it seems like the obvious answer is more mileage. And if that's led to injury before, less intensity, prioritize volume. If she's going to have improvements at this point, I don't see it happening on like 70 miles per week or whatever. and I don't think running harder in training is it. I bet that's what Ed Eyestone identifies.

Established athletes changing coaches late in their career never works. The old saying DANCE WITH THE ONE THAT BROUGHT YOU means more than a struggling athlete ever recognizes. Scott Rascko has made her what she is. Her success story has been remarkable. After 8 years away from the sport she returns to become an American record holder. Now that she has had a rough year she needs a change? I personally hate the lack of loyalty and will always look at her differently. What about her current teammate that has been a loyal training partner?
That was mostly track stuff. She has a good record for staying healthy when she’s on the roads.
Yeah the track definitely bangs her up more she has said. But I know she has been dealing with some hip flexor firing issues for a while, before all of the track stuff. Maybe just an age thing.
