Diversity means no white people.
So it's not diverse enough yet.

Firstly people who whine about this are pathetic.
But you actually make a good point on the us qualification system. There was so much backlash about our qualification system after Athing crapped out. Well guess what, it is truly the fairest way to do it so no more complaining.
DEI only comes into play when people are being "chosen" for something. Because then bias comes into play. But no one was chosen. They ran the race they QUALIFIED. so if it was a sea of white athletes, well? Sucks to suck everyone else.
But it wasn't it was actually a pretty diverse mix. White athletes, mixed athletes, black athletes. Gay athletes, straight athletes, non binary athletes I'm not going to go through and parse everyone's ethnic background, but I'm sure someone has Asian ancestry.

This post is one of the most monstrous posts I've ever seen, and even as a troll post it's so disgusting, I'm lost for words but the one thing I will say is:
you claim Sydney doesn't look American and is foreign, but then say "listen to her ebonics".
Ebonics by definition, is an American dialect.
A meritocracy? Isn't that what you want?
You should not have quoted the post.
I have reported it. This sick person has made the same post 5 times within the last hour. I have reported all of them.

Look only as far as the nba. Asians make up 0.4% of eligible players. Equality and diversity is a scam that’s only enforced and adhered to in certain races.
OP here. In case it wasn’t obvious (which, it appears wasn’t to some posters) I clearly don’t have an issue with the racial make up of the team and don’t care if anyone is of Asian heritage or not. I was merely pointing out that society seems OK with this, but insists on proportionate representation in schools and corporations.

probably the most ridiculous post I've seen on this site and that's saying something.
I thought it was a legitimate and interesting questions. Why isn't there an uproar about the lack of Asian-Americans on the US track team or in US track events in general? Why aren't there many, if any, Asian-Americans in competitive US track? What's your answer to those two questions? If you can't come up with answers, maybe the questions aren't as ridiculous as you say.
