Was he still in his track gear, like this?

At least he wasn't banging boots with a call girl like Humpty. But then again Humpty has beaten Jakob in a 1500 at the Humpty Grand Prix Mar-a-lay-me
Its really funny to see the projection of your ideals.
Hope you dont get upsets in the future because the world dont turn around Jakob.
NBC will likely cut to this story during the race and miss the big move.
Or wouldn't know how to rent a car and would have to beg for a ride, or would fall off their chair, or wouldn't know how to call the airline and have to wait for their brother to return home after his vacation, or would be too scared to go outside because of the cicadas and raccoons, or would need mommy to advance his allowance to buy a plane ticket, or would get so caught up in the Rush Limbaugh show that he forgot to go to the hospital.
Or it’s a small price to pay to know you’re going to live very comfortably for the rest of your life without never working a day
You sound like someone who’s never stayed home to take care of kids all day.
Your move, Kerr
anybody critical of Jakob for this is pathetic. Jakob and his wife are pragmatists. HE is able to do his thing and be there for important moments when possible. He has a career that is only possible for 10 to 15 years and he is doing what he needs to do to maximize it. She understands this and doesn't feel the need to have jakob sit in a room with her holding her hand. THey don't live by modern American standards. They do what works for them, and has always worked for them. Their ability to be happy and thrive independent of each other, as well as with each other is what will give them great success in their relationship. Jakob might have found his perfect match.
you guys can serve your families however you and your wives think is best. Jakob and Elisabeth are doing the same for their family.
Congrats to the brand new parents.
If he truly had bad ideals, he would have censored you and deleted your comment.
Its literally his JOB to care about what the big names in the only sport he covers are doing. So shut up.
Inb4 yall say I'm rojo or an intern, I'm just a track fan from the us. Nothing less, nothing more.
I wish I was that locked in

When jakob's wife called him to tell him she'd goine into contractions, he was in St.. Moritz. He then ran a workout, hopped on a plane (5 hours after she called) and went home. 30 minutes after walking in the door, they went to the hospital and checked in. He then left, did another workout and came back and was there in time to help out and cut the umbilical chord.
2 days later, he won the 1500 at the national champs and then a day later the 5000. NRK has the details of the crazy birth day here:
Did he get a second workout in? Or did he skip it. The article you linked says:
“On the morning Filippa was born, Jakob Asserson Ingebrigtsen did something as rare as skip a training session. He definitely feels it was worth it.”
Sounds like he skipped it. I think a lot of people would think not being there for your wife(especially right before the actual birth) is a dick move. But like someone else said if it works for them then who am I to judge?
Per her post-race interview, Valby think she’s in, based on what her coaches told her after the race. They knew what she needed, and gave her the signal to make that move a mile out, based on their projections.
There's a very high chance that they will be divorced in the next few years (lines up with how young they got together, how young they had kids, the fact that both did not go to college, etc.).
Didn't they just get married? So she must have been pregnant before they tied the knot.

They do not live in America though. Their parents and siblings all married young and had kids. They also live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and that country is also a social democracy with a public fund that owns 1% of all of the world's stock listed companies.
It's a completely different place from what we in Europe call sh*ithole America.
