Most people want to look woke and accepted. Peer pressure has a strong hold on many people, just like it has on you.
Well, that didn't seem to work with Dibaba and her competitors unlike Kipyegon, not that you'd be able to tell the difference between the two of them regardless.
Why did all her competitors hold her up after the mile WR if she’s a dirty cheat? you think the entire field is cheating? otherwise she clearly has the respect of everyone around her.
Still, if you rewatch that race, she doesn’t seem to be tired at all at the finish. It’s not just her…in other mid and distance runners setting records or nearly (eg, a lot of the young Ethiopian women), foot speed seems to be the only limiting factor. Like they could keep running at their closing pace for another lap. To a normal human mind, that seems odd.
it's pretty normal actually that when in peak condition one doesn't look tired right after crossing the line
you'll have a tough time finding a tired looking runner that just set a WR for instance, and yet nobody has ever run faster in recorded history and there they are just smiling, running around celebrating like they are weightless
having coached high school runners, i'd say the incoming freshman tend to look and act the most exhausted right after (and before ofc) a run ends
Faith led this wire-to-wire and never broke form. Have to assume she's in WR potential shape. I wonder if the allure of setting a WR at the Olympics will bait her into leading from the gun in Paris. Would be quite the show and probably result in several (all?) PBs among the top 5.
She's been a top athlete for more than a decade, it's pure greed.

They're trying to get the same immunity from WADA. Fake humble wins medals.

Yeah, I don’t totally disagree in general. It’s the paradox that to set a PR or WR you have to be in peak shape/condition and that you’ll feel the best in your fastest race (though normal logic would say the opposite). But it’s not just a subjective assessment of what they “look like.” I mean, they keep running fast around the corner, they’re jumping around, they're not actually breathing heavy, their body is not telling them to double over or lie down…a lot of signs that the runner is not straining. Compare with Kejelcha or Laura Muir, for instance, splayed out on the track, visibly spent. We’ve seen it before in the great doping era of cycling—the combination of unreal climbing speed and no sign of physical strain on, say, Lance’s face or body. Jakob seems to work hard to look really cool, but he’s also visibly breathing really hard (and he loses races). Kipyegon and the Ethiopian women, to me, are outliers among the outliers. That level of ease, with all the above caveats, doesn’t look right. It does appear to me that the aerobic system is not the limiting factor—that’s not right.

Did you listen/watch the Kipyegon interview from after the 5000? She was clearly very out of breath

Man, the truth hurts, eh? Another silly wokester trying to deflect.
For what reason? Because you are bitter and a racist troll who cannot stand to see others win? If other countries produce great results would you say the same or are you simply pushing a racist narrative here? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I don’t know how you sleep at night or look at yourself in the mirror whilst falsely accusing others of despicable things. Racist troll who’s just seeking attention. Go for therapy. This is not a therapist’s office
Shame on you. So because she’s been a top athlete for a while she should stop doing well? For what? Where is the greed? You are a racist and selfish greedy troll seeking attention. There you got it🙄🙄🙄🙄
Did you see how much admiration and respect her competitors have for her? They literally carried her up and were happy for her when she broke the WR. Because she’s genuine and engages in a clean sport! You are a racist troll seeking attention
Regrettably you are a racist troll. Why didn’t I see you claim that athletes have doped during the European athletics championships? Oh wait, you are pushing a racist narrative here🙄🙄🙄🙄
