Basketball shoes are fashionable. "Runners" can be but mostly sneakers are. Jordan sells Jordans, Kerley isn't selling a casual shoe though I think Kipchoge could.
Then again if Nike made alphafly 3s available right after the WR you might have seen more as a fashion statement as with the original alphas.
They really don't know how to market running shoes. Or at best they've determined that people buying sneakers or 'dad shoes' aren't going to change their minds.
