For men I think this is big for Gebrhiwet, if he wins again convincingly then even Jakob should watch out. The Oslo 5000 just seemed almost too good to be true. If he wins again tonight I think he's the 10000 favourite
He had a great name like General Yanda (seriously). Could not find him on World Athletics so he has 16 days to go under 1:44.80. He looked quite good so not writing him off, and perhaps he’s running at African Champs which could be quick.

Indeed brilliant name, I guess its this guy, a junior, so will probably represent Ethiopian one way or the other this summer
Seem safely away a question of which order they finish and what time
But Tsegay surely has a spot. So I wonder how they deploy as they could put Taye in either, Gebreselama in either and probably should find a way to have Eisa in a race as well.
Personally I’d go:
10K- Tsegay, Tesfaye, Taye
5K- Tsegay, Gebreselama, Eisa
1500- Welteji, F. Hailu, Haylom

How could I forget, good point. Choosing these teams is going to be incredible difficult for the federation and likely not without some controversy
Yes Mebratu (14:22.7 at Pre) would have a beef with Eisa getting picked. That’s where it might get tricky, but perhaps Eisa blasts a fast 5,000 soon, which is why she didn’t contest the 10,000 here.

Excellent pacing. Big guy gets off the track. Under 13:20 at 5K?
Looked real fast like 13:15? The more I think about this I feel like Aregawi could miss out in a sprint but I think Gebrhiwet won't wait around after Sime steps off

All-time list is gonna get a ton of additions here unless they wait a while to kick. Aregawi to the front they will be going honest.
