Doping is likely as rampant in Ethiopia and Uganda. They just don't test responsibly like Kenya does.
then why aren't anywhere near as many ethiopians caught in competition and outside of kenya, as kenyans are?
different countries have different cultures and some are more dishonest than others. take nigeria as an example. to lump ethiopia in with kenya just because they're next to each other on a map and the skin colour is similar, is not very well-reasoned.
A guy that has obsession on doping busts of African and spend the whole of his day browsing any worthless information that will have zero impact on the performances of Kenyan.

Clearly it is also not well-reasoned at this point to continue to lump them altogether as 'natural born runners'.
So in just the past DAY alone we've had a 2:03 and 2:04 Kenyan banned. And we're pretending that it's only C tier Kenyans doping?
Clearly rekbot and El K will explain soon why these two don't count. Just wait.
What are you counting? Sure the performances themselves count a great deal, being within 3-4 minutes of the world record, but what do we know about the connection between these athletes "doping" and their marathon performances? One of these athletes was sanctioned for "whereabouts failures", and the other for "steroids". Neither of these are particularly known, either academically or anecdotally, to produce faster marathon performances.
WADA and Kenya and ADAK and the AIU have been investigating Kenyan doping, and providing detailed reports, for about a decade, ever since Seppelt accused Kenyans of doping in 2012, following Kisorio's bust. One of the most concerning things about Kenyan athletes is that those with promising talent are being exploited both locally, by doctors and pharmacists, and remotely, by foreign agents. While ADAK and the AIU are increasing the depth of testing of the top layers of (to paraphrase the AIU's Brett Clothier) Kenya's pyramid of talented athletes, it is the most successful who are the ones more likely to be tested and caught.

There's a 2:01 Kenyan who's been doping for ages, but everyone wants to just blindly support him thanks to endless marketing campaigns from an American shoe brand and Dutch insurance company
