The espn announcers always focus on sec athletes because they always cover the sec championships and they are familiar with those athletes.
Also, he has an insane story. A talented by almost unknown runner from India making a move of faith to the United States to pursue track and field, eventually becoming indoor and outdoor conference champion as a true freshman. That's a pretty insane story.
Damien Dircher from Iona holds of Khan in the end, knocks him out of the finals. great kick by Dicher, thought for sure Khan would pass him but he dug deep. kick of the day!

The female announcer is beyond annoying amd doesnt have her sh@t together. Wisconsin is not Washington. And the second Oregon guy in the second heat was not “a bit back”. He was dead last. Who gave this chick this gig??

She does a good job and quickly corrected herself. Not the person to be getting mad at. The SEC bias can be a bit as Strand/Murphy should have gotten some love.

That was Rheinhardt Harrison. He finished 8th and just missed the last qualifying spot.

He's in the easier heat to make the finals too. Hard to go against one of the Washington athletes not winning it though. They've won 22' outdoors, 23' indoors, 23' outdoors, 24' indoors and with different athletes.
