If this was your daughter and this male took her spot or her medal and her moment. These males are taking away female spots and places. Maybe the empathy should be with those girls not the male who can compete. Against males.
I feel for the girls that don't make the final because a biological male takes their spot. That costs them exposure and a chance to impress a college coach that could change their lives. Also, what's the point of the transgender athlete winning or competing for a state title? The NCAA and World Athletics will no longer allow them to compete without chemical or physical alterations plus their courageous statement will be forgotten within 48 hours once Trump says something outlandish, Biden makes a gaffe, some act of terrorism happens, or a natural disaster occurs and the news cycle shifts to that shiny new topic.
I didn’t say “it rarely happens” like you quote. They are women and a tiny fraction of the woman population. They are called Transgender Female athletes by WA. If you don’t like the rules of the governing body of the sport, the sport isn’t for you.
If the American public voted on this issue (should a boy be allowed to say he is a girl AND compete for prizes against girls), and you removed the top 20% of card carrying right wingers, the trans position would still be soundly defeated when it comes to sports. Most won’t talk about it openly, but it seems the OG Americans on both sides of the aisle see the obvious light on this topic.
I’m thinking about the kids getting the boo-bird treatment: It’s probably 10% going toward the kid and kid’s parents, and 90% going toward the administrators and government officials that have avoided professional risk, that has placed the kid in this unfortunate position.
Since it is such a small percentage… maybe there could be trans meets sponsored and held by people who value it. We have masters races, Special Olympics, children’s meets, etc.. Have an accommodating day and celebrate these folks… even worldwide.
Many of us have beliefs, but we are not allowed to have those beliefs take over societal norms - our beliefs get isolated to our family and culture group. Thankfully so.

That sounds pretty math stupid. One transgender girl only displaces one other girl, the one right behind her. There are no (plural) “girls” to feel for. All the rest were already where they are in relative rankings.
Surely you don’t feel for all the trans girls out there every time a cis girl takes a spot (though that’s not because you are math smart but because you don’t give a damn what happens to the trans girls).
The Trans Tidal Wave is here and it's not going away, you haters!
I suggest that the bio-girls go back to darning socks, doing laundry, and having babies.
But it is only a matter of time until TRANS start having babies (I heard this on "The View", NPR, and The New York Times) and then you will whine about that!
You bio-girls have been protected for too long, and your fragility is showing!
I hope that whatever hard right, authoritarian dystopia that emerges from this pseudo left march to madness at least makes an example of the culprits. The trans issue gets people riled up, but it’s a drop in the ocean vs the harm of some of the other nonsense.
My town’s Memorial Day race features a free kid’s mile where overall prizes are awarded. I think that I am going to run it and DOMINATE it!
I am a self-declared 9 year old girl named Haley. I feel this in my very core! The RD has absolutely no legal authority to question my firmly held beliefs or to see my birth certificate. Despite my full beard and hairy legs, no one is permitted to question the validity of my declaration. Pointing out those aforementioned attributes is rude, perverse, and reinforces harmful patriarchal stereotypes that keep my kind down! My age, physical attributes, and medical records are no one’s business but my own. It’s called freedom and you can keep your social constructs and religious beliefs to yourself! You may not examine me, either!
I am not cheating! I have no physical advantages that can be absolutely proven by science or a court of law. I have both a constitutional and a basic human right to compete as who I feel that I truly am! Haters need to back off, stop being bigots, and other kids just need to work harder if they want to win.
It'd probably be something similar to living under Franco or Pinochet which wouldn't be all that bad for the majority of people. Yes, it would be a dictatorship and all that comes with that. But there'd be food, security, and stability which left wing authoritarian regimes seems to struggle with providing. For the ~50% of people with varying degrees of the leftist pathology, the daily reality would range from the mild annoyance of not being on the winning team as it were to full on repressed hysterics. The true believers of the leftist creed would be met with... er, a scenic trip on a helicopter or something to that effect.
She changed her name from donavan brown to davina brown, now she's veronica garcia.3 name changes for one athlete. She's nowhere near as fast as aayden gallagher, the oregon "champion".

Except they are women so they are rightfully running with other women. It isn't their fault they were assigned the wrong gender at birth and should be free to live their life in all aspects as their correct felt gender.

Chronological age is a provable reality. Gender is a social construct. You can run as a female named Haley and I fully support you running as a woman in a woman's race as Haley. No one should tell you that is wrong.
However chronological age, which is not a social construct, is immutable.
How long until a "woman" breaks the 4-minute mile? Will the mass media celebrate it? I think it will be sooner than we think. These cases are becoming more and more common. It seems like, a couple years ago, you heard about a new case every few months. Now, it's seems like every few days.
As the numbers grow, the likelihood that a huge female international star will be beaten grows. Imagine Serena Williams at the top of her game and a man just crushes her at Wimbledon. Or Marion Jones getting crushed by a man in Sydney in 2000. Or Katie Ledecky getting embarrassed by a man at the Olympics. Or how about Caitlyn Clark making it to the NCAA Championship Game and a man holds her to 4 points. I believe this NEEDS to happen, and happen SOON, in order for this nonsense to finally be addressed appropriately.
One big thing preventing it from happening is that World Athletics and a lot of its equivalents in other sports don't allow men to compete as women. I guess we could see a high school "girl" beat a women's WR at some point and we'll see how that's recived.

That bolded part is correct. They allow female-identifying athletes to compete as women, not men. You finally got it. Good.😌
No it isn’t. You say that as if it’s settled science or something. As if it wasn’t a philosophical idea that people like Judith Butler propagated. That was her opinion, it doesn’t have to be mine.

Fortunately college coaches have these things called stopwatches which will allow them to assess the performance of the female athletes who were displaced by the trans athlete.
