You are merely stating a legal formalism, one can't be said to be guilty of a crime until convicted due to the fact that a trial has not yet occurred. Gjert is innocent - just like OJ, Timothy McVeigh & all others charged with crimes were "innocent" in a formally legal sense before a verdict is reached. This status doesn't mean he did NOT do what he has been both credibly accused & CHARGED with & these credible accusations & charges are sufficient to challenge and/or remove the "legal formalism" of "innocence" from public opinion.

Jakob had one of the best seasons of all time without Gjert in 2023. Seethe.
It seems like a bit of childhood abuse is part of the recipe for world class success.
Yes, as they say, spare the rod and spoil the child. Immigrant Americans (ie most of the rest of the world) have less hangups about corporally disciplining their children that, on average, end up faring at least as good if not better and feel just as loved and close knit with their parents.
You dont get 6 years for the stuff he is charged with - not even in Norway. He is accused of:
1) ”…. to have poked the child with his finger in the chest and on the upper arm every month”
2) ”and screamed loudly that the person in question was an idiot.”
3) ”During an argument in 2022, Gjert Ingebrigtsen allegedly hit the same child in the face with a towel.”
4) ”He is also said to have screamed until the child started to cry”
5)”restricting/limiting the freedom of movement of the child”,
it is not legal to hit someone with a towel, so he might get convicted. But it wont be for 6 years.
Since your obviously partial presentation is not a court you won't know what he will get. But minimising what he is alleged to have done is the usual way to go here.

That doesn't mean he is innocent. Charges are based on evidence. If proven he will be convicted.
Never said anything like that. If you lift your eyes you will see how I give an argument against those who act like what he is accused for is just normal stuff that happens everywhere.
He still is not convicted yet, but the charges are pretty serious, and I see no reason to distrust the experience of his children. Whether he is found guilty for breaking any laws we do not know.

You responded to a post that said he was "innocent until proven guilty" with your figure "100%". Not exactly nuanced. Innocence under the law isn't and can't be quantified. Your response sounded like a claim that he is innocent as a point of indisputable fact and not as a procedural formality.

1) "…. to have poked the child with his finger in the chest and on the upper arm every month” -- that's it? my mom used to spank me and tap me on the arm with a wooden stick.
2) ”and screamed loudly that the person in question was an idiot.” -- my mom used to yell at me all the time for getting bad grades in school and for being naughty
3) ”During an argument in 2022, Gjert Ingebrigtsen allegedly hit the same child in the face with a towel.” -- so it was just whiplash from a towel? do you know how soft towels are?
4) ”He is also said to have screamed until the child started to cry” -- same as 2, my mom used to yell at me all the time. i'm pretty sure most parents are some point yell at their children for misbehaving
5) ”restricting/limiting the freedom of movement of the child” -- so the child was grounded?
