Seriously, I was confused by the name. I thought maybe it meant that ten prominent runners were invited in one -or several - of the premiere meet events.

My best idea is two sections of lines of four with a cross diagonal mark, like in a tally. The last one is free, ON, just credit me with the idea. I'm fine with being a marketing genius for free, but I want the notoriety. Like the girl who came up with the Nike Swoosh.

It was really hard to google "The Ten" and find its homepage before someone mentioned that it's in California in March and I added those two words to my search.
I figure these days they'd be sued for copyright infringement if they don't go with something short enough to be a common phrase, or long enough to be totally unique and in compliance with the laws of truth in advertizing, like maybe "The Much Hyped 10000 Meter Record Attempt Races Surronded By A Bunch Of Filler Distances That Might All Go Bust Because Of Rain, Wind Or Early Season Forest Fires In The Nearby Area", or TMH1MRARSBABOFDTMAGBBORWOESFFITNA for short. ;-P
