She did and I love Elle... but you can't just legally elbow someone in the solar plexus and get away with it unless you're from New England running in New England. Elle elbowed Jessica Hull about 700m from the finish and that's not legal lolm
Pretty sure it's just her and her dad. Her dad is a total track nuffie. No formal coaching qualifications but has been really invested in his daughter's progression since her junior days.
They now put indoor (short track) results to outdoor all-time lists which is ok but confusing as indoor outright bests are not becoming also outright records.
So Hull's mark is of course an Oceanian indoor record: worldathletics.org / news/report/lyles-breaks-60m-new-balance-indoor-grand-prix-meeting-record-boston
while it should be also area outright record (it is by more than 10 seconds).
She normally comes around 6th in the finals of the big competitions. But she does look to be getting faster. She was clipping at Muir’s heels in some races last year. Could be her year.
Jess stated in her tv interview the 3k is her favorite event
As noted, she typically comes in 6th or so in world championship 1500 races.
With Faith & Ethiopians led by Guday in the 1500 . . . and that group w/Chebet in the 5k . . . Jess has to overcome several seemingly insurmountable roadblocks in those events to medal.
So . . . could the Steeple be in her future? . . .

Yes, you can. That elbow barely touched Jessica. And it didn't break her stride or impact her , so LEGAL. You need to review your track rules and remember, indoor track is a contact sport indirectly. A notorius indoor track quote over the ages goes like this, "Sharpen those elbows, get ready to race."

Ok, sorry, they actually become abolute records, as it should be, as the WA area records list says now.
So please WA, write better articles. Precise language is important for journalists and the like(s), not only for lawyers.

She's got a coach who is fully invested in her, not a slave to a brand. Athletes need to become their own strongest advocates. They deserve much better than a brand appointed coach.
Hull showed so much strength at end. Very good finish by Hull. And the reaction after the race by St Pierre tells me she didn't take the lost too well. But still had an outstanding race.
You don't know anything about world scene - Jessica is clearly getting faster and faster in the end.
In the end cause she will be 28 this year and wasn't super fast before, she is much better since ~last year probably I think.
She will also clearly get faster back when she was younger, but in the beginning because she’s Australian, she’ll be older this year compared to last, probably I think. If so. And.
