I feel like the diet hasn’t changed over the years but instead that the new super shoes along with medicines such as T3 help contribute to the speed of a runner and their build.
Nico appears to about the skinniest college runner currently and amazingly, he ran the fastest time in history.
Him along with Ky Robinson. Although Ky is struggling a little bit. I wonder if he's just saving himself for end of season or if there is something deeper happening?
I've noticed a lot of college athletes are running very fast times and seem to be not even out of breath when they finish. They all share one common factor which is that they are fit and have great builds, which comes from their training but most probably their diet as well.
I know a girl who was top 3 in the NCAA in her running event. She ate whatever she wanted. Diet does help a little, but not as much as you think.
If she was top 3 last year in a distance event, it has everything to do with it.
I don't know what this means. There are some that are "top 3 in a distance event" that eat like crap and some that eat a perfect diet.
I know what you are saying but it still doesn't mean it doesn't matter. What if she did eat a perfect diet? Would she be the top distance runner in that event? We will never know.
If she was top 3 last year in a distance event, it has everything to do with it.
Think of it this way. When Athing Mu was destroying everyone her freshman year in college, do you think it would have mattered if her diet wasn't great? No, it wouldn't have mattered. Even if her diet hurt her by a half of a second, she still would have destroyed everyone.
Like I said, diet does help a little, but not as much as some people think.
