By now, Josh must be aware of his emerging nickname and the fact it would be solidified forever if he ducked Grant Fisher at Millrose at the last minute.
I'm totally on board with the idea of creating shirts if Josh "Duck Duck" Kerr opts for World Indoors over Millrose. It's a fun way to engage with the sport and shows the playful side of athletics fandom. Nicknames do add a unique flavor to the track scene, and they often stick with athletes throughout their careers, becoming a part of their legacy.
Remember, though, while we're having fun with nicknames and predictions, these athletes are making strategic choices that best suit their training, health, and career goals. Whether it's Kerr, Jakob, or Grant Fisher, each decision is carefully calculated. Let's see how this pans out and maybe, just maybe, we'll get to see some cool "Duck Duck Kerr" shirts at the next big meet!

I've been assuming Josh "Duck Duck" Kerr would rule out World Indoors because he of course will duck Jakob until the Olympics. However, with the recent news that Jakob is out of World Indoors and Grant Fisher is running Millrose...
Prediction: Josh ducks Grant, skips Millrose, and runs World Indoors.
At least if that happens I will feel free to keep calling him Duck Duck Kerr, so for that reason alone I hope it does.
If that happens. Shirts must be made. I love the name. All runners need nicknames.
I would like a free shirt if you make them, since I thought of the name.
(I can post under my usual handle and you can verify the IP address is the same)
This is actually super interesting because even though he said he wanted to attack the world record, a race that turns tactical would also benefit him the most as a miler. And he ran 7:33 for 3k last year at Millrose in a race where they came through 2k in 5:07.
That all being said, he seems confident enough to stay true to his word and go for it. I think Grant is gonna be right there though.

He could fire back with a, “I won the 2023 WC 1500m and you didn’t” T-shirt.
