That's really not earth-shattering except for the fact that the Pegasus is junk.
50 years old, been running since 1986, have worn exclusively Pegasus since at least 1990 and probably earlier.
Buy two pair at a time and alternate daily, almost always put a little over 1,000 miles on each pair before replacing them.
Ran a little over 4,000 miles in 2023.
Only injury I've ever had was an IT Band issue that developed during a marathon in 1997 (wearing racing shoes at the time).
I hate Nike and refuse to buy any of their clothing but I will always wear Pegasus. As someone else noted, go online and find older versions of them and get them at a cheaper price.
Get a pair of Asics and you will see a world of difference.
