He is still insanely overpaid. If 1 million dollars was taken from his salary and given to athletes, or used to run events, I'd say he was paid about right - well about what a CEO of USATF who cared about the athletes should make not what a clown like Siegel should make.

He still belongs in jail along with all of his cronies on the board. Corruption pure and simple. They were giving out financial grants in the singles and tens of thousands of dollars for top tier elite athletes while cumulatively pocketing tens of millions in “salaries and bonuses” themselves. Absolutely psychotic.

I don't like Max. I think he is dong a bad job. That said, I make +$300k making BS powerpoint slides nobody reads. Somehow him making 3x my salary doesn't feel unrealistic. That said, the performance of the business has clearly not been trending in the wrong direction. My gripe is his continued employment rather than his salary. USATF needs a new CEO full stop, they can pay $1M+ if they want to but the performance has to be better.

Nike squeezes USATF for little money.

USATF uses local Indy high school computer clubs for websites. Nike uses thousands of free, unpaid fan bois for websites.

Many have named suspects but i haven't heard any confirmations or read any FBI reports nor police investigations.

Names like flotrack, milesplit, Register Guard, Track Landia, TFFRSS, citius magazine in new york city, TAFWA, etc. are seen as seedy Nike volunteer operations.

I am sure this is only a partial list since it does not include USATF.

When Olympic sports were setup back in the day there wasn't a significant Middle Class in the USA. It's setup as non-profits and charities same as VFW, Moose Lodge, NAACP, etc. that benefit society. TV cameramen, officials, coaches, athletes, announcers, writers, stats, timing, hurdles crews, etc are unpaid volunteers. The venues are let at cost by local municipalities. The entire Olympic Sports system is for charity and community development. They don't have a profit motive nor do they have any staff on hand than knows how to pay professional level monies. That's different than the Olympic Games which used to be owned by the American company ABC TV and is now owned by NBC Universal TV. They make outrageous profits in the tens of billions of US dollars and are publically traded companies. The IOC is the governing body, setup as a non-profit, charity, and is an inactive business partner to NBC Universal which manages the sports and teams.

It doesn't matter if Max crapped in this panties at the Eugene World Champs Oregon 22, Pre Classic Diamond League Final 2023, Los Angeles Grand Prix 2023, New York Grand Prix 2023, and USA Championships 2023. He's not supposed to make money. If he made too much money, USATF would lose it's tax exempt status.

Rojo, you recently made a video criticizing Siegl for making $3 million+. Now, it's "revealed" that he actually makes a lot less than that. And yet you are still upset? I don't understand. What's a reasonable about for him to make. What salary would make YOU satisfied.
