Webb’s record won’t last very long. When both Ryun & Webb ran there times, they were outliers. Now, we have clusters of folks.
Hobbs’ 3:34 is the superior performance.
Then, we’ve had a 3:37 1500m guy and 3:56 low mile in the just the last two seasons as well like 8 other guys sub 4.
Too many dogs sniffing around it for one not to bite. I give it 5 years.
Now, Hobbs’ time I could see lasting 20 years since it’s quite a bit better than 3:53.
