I checked his Strava, I have seen a hefty number of manuals. So, I would say he has been running 25-30miles a week. When looking at many of the current top seniors they also were running this amount if not higher. I believe that Miles definitely has the potential to be one of the best runners by his senior year or even junior year. I have seen his Strava, his past few runs have been pretty impressive realizing the fact that he has been running quite low mileage. I am excited to see what he has to offer to the running community this upcoming season. I also want to note that he is one of the most underrated runners I have seen in a while. If you are seeing this Miles don't give up. Although your past races were not that great it seemed that you were running very low mileage or none at all somedays. 4:25 on 40 miles is a great start as a sophomore. I did notice the setback you had but I still think you have time to recover as of now for junior year. I see something in you that I don't see in any other runners. I was right about Cole Hocker. I have seen your workouts this week after coming back from a long break, good to see you back and you ran a 4:45 I believe in a workout? This is a good start, I would ignore what these other guys in the comments say, other runners running 70 miles a week and barley running sub 4:20 is not necessarily what colleges are looking out for. They want low mileage runners but now that you are junior its perfect time to start bumping up to 60-67 miles a week. If you are able to hit this consistently there is no telling what you will be able to run the next 2 years.
