After every regional, Jonathan Gault will be running Bo Waggoner's program to see who is in and out. He'll post the results on the live blog on the front page: https://www.letsrun.com/events...
I am not sure but I thought the rosters had to be declared prior to regionals and only runners declared there could run in championship (and only 7 of course)?
Any chance that Tuohy does not run in the regional meet? NC State does not need her to qualify and there was some thought that last year she raced too much. I thought I remembered Henes saying something about that.
lol of course there is a chance but I think wiser to run Tuohy and Chmiel and they can do an easyish run, rest Stephens and maybe Hartman. Run Quarzo, Gapes, probably Bush, Schulz. Tyynismaa depending her health (what cause the cramping?)

Which teams / individuals are going to need to make a hard effort at SE regionals to qualify? I am not sure who is 'safe' without the auto qualifer
I would take the day off fromm work to watch if a few re streamed. I hope that the Letsrun people can find out. Why do schools not do it? IT can be done through X or youtube with a phone and a golf cart.

On the W side, my guess (emphasize guess) is UNC in the SE as I'm not sure they have beat anyone who is a lock yet. OR for sure given where they have finished so far although they did beat OR St at Dellinger. VA already beat several teams at their Sep meet. I'd think NC St is very safe. FL beat ND, OR St, CBU at Nuttycombe so I'd think they are safe. probably everybody ex AR in South Central, everybody ex FL in South. CBU maybe. Maybe everyone ex Georgetown in mid Atlantic, maybe everyone in Northeast, Maybe WI and Mich St both need autoqualify? Just some guesses.

Probably add OR to those who might need to do something.

You forgot to mention that Matt was injured all fall and unable to race that year. RC wasn't holding him out all season just to "make sure he was ready" lmao. You can even look up interviews from NCAAs that year and they explain it. People like you leaving out information to fit your argument against how programs are run today need to move on and not worry so much about what others are doing and how often they compete
If you’re telling me not to worry about what others are doing, why you worrying about my post and proving my point even further…you foo?
The fact he didn’t run for weeks makes him even more of a LE-GEND, compared to the bulk of athletes who are toast by mid November. He destroyed me and my fast/ older teammates that day who were mostly healthy all season long. Somebody asked if anybody debuted their season at nationals. I simply answered, because well, he did. Case closed. Skidddyyy—yer-ya!!!
It would be amazing if there was live streaming of the Northeast Regional race (held at VCP) but I doubt it...
ESPN+ doesn't have any cross country races listed on their schedule for Friday (Ivy League usually had their live streams through ESPN+, and Columbia is hosting the Northeast Regional)
Seems to be the case right now - however, I suggest following the host schools' websites on their announcements of the Regional meets to see if they post more details of how to follow the meet.
We all have our own meets that we are following so it would be nice if people let us know what the find as they find it. I will be attending the midwest meet.

It costs money to rent a golf cart, and even then, you need to make sure the golf cart is fast enough on the course so that the lead runners don't pass it (happened at the Battle of Beantown this year when Harvard's Graham Blanks passed the golf cart at Franklin Park. Harvard hosted their conference meet at Franklin Park, and they joked that they made sure they got a faster cart so it didn't happen again).
Also, who knows if the wifi is good at these places to stream from a person's cellphone.

A number of timing sites are up - everyone and anyone is entered. Who will run remains to be seen.Southeasthttps://www.flashresults.com/2024_Meets/xc/NCAASE/South Centralhttps://www.flashresults.com/2024_Meets/xc/NCAASC/Great...

Pay a media studies student to run a drone, and another enthusiast to commentate and give live updates and time splits? Can’t be worse than some of the ‘commentators’ I’ve heard. At least something/ anything would be great.
