considering the Coffee Club Podcast (all OAC members) pretty much announced Elise leaving Bowerman last month perhaps she returns to Boulder and runs for OAC.
McGorty will be next, and then maybe Mo Ahmed. Everyone else is too new or too low level to get onto another major team. (Evan Jager is too old lmao) They might as well stay and collect checks until Jerry is forced to kick them out.

Bowerman probably won't officially shut down until after the Olympics. So there will be a few current Bowerman runners who don't want to switch coaches right before the Olympics.
Flooding the zone. They've been directed, or Nike PR is posting on their behalf, lots of happy news and platitudes in hopes of drowning out the departures.
My theory is that all the BTC defectors are joining an underground team behind the scenes, Shelby Houlihan’s Incredibly Talented Track Club (S.H.I.T. Track Club). All the Instagram announcements are coming soon:
”I’m very excited to start my next chapter in running as a S.H.I.T. athlete”
I knew this was happening since the move to Eugen and people on here called me crazy. The real idiotic issue is that Jerry didn’t leave as head coach of the BTC when accepting the Oregon job. A clean new start with someone could have made all the difference. It should have stayed in Portland and get separated from the whole Shelby disaster. Instead his stubbornness caused the downfall of BTC. I don’t get what Nike was thinking here.
It was done the day that Jerry agreed to be the coach at the University of Oregon. There was no way he was going to keep coaching both groups.
This is the one actual true post. Jerry can’t coach both effectively. If you’re a pro at BTC and your head coach and the entire coaching staff at BTC decides to make University of Oregon a priority it’s a no go. There is no way possible to coach both groups with the same focus. Jerry has to put more effort into Oregon and that’s going to piss off the pros. BTC is not going away. They just need a new coach or coaches and rebuild.
Don't panic, Bowerman fans! Not everyone has officially left the group. Remember, Shelby Houlihan is still being coached by Shalane and Jerry. Ride or die, baby!

People say that it is impossible to coach effectively both College and Pros at the same time and then recommend Mike Smith and Dijeet? I’m confused.
