I work in medical devices. I know multiple doctors and have seen a bunch of doctors for running injuries over the years. The common thing I have found in most of them is they think patients are the most annoying part of the job. Yes, you read that right - they dislike the reason for the job. The ones I have seen for injury all want to inject cortisone or give drugs. They want you to A) Go away, or B) Become a recurring patient by never fixing your problem (patients are a recurring revenue stream).
So IMHO, you would fit right in as a doctor only doing it for the money.
