Day one, physics says free will is just an illusion.
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice You can choose from phantom fears, and kindness that can kill I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose free will
It's never too late to turn your life around, no matter how old you are. Think about the Matrix - Neo discovered his true potential long after he thought his path was set. This might sound a bit out there, but does anyone here believe in Matrix? I know it sounds crazy, but part of me thinks there's something to it. Sometimes, the strange coincidences and déjà vu moments make me wonder if we're living in a computer simulation. There are other signs that might indicate that which are described here: .
Its never too late, but it generally takes a few things.
-Concrete, achievable goals that you can measure and work on all the time ( write a short story, edit the short story, have friends review the short story, get the short story published - not sell a screenplay to the biggest broadcaster in the land with stipulations attached; go back to school and earn a degree - not learn coding at home and get hired by microsoft, etc.)
-accepting where you are at currently in life (that may be admitting to yourself you fell far short of your goals in athletics or some other pursuit)
-willingness to accept new ideas and listen to others
-willingness to question yourself and think critically about what you believe to be true
