People make the mistake of thinking that Nico is less talented than the twins, because they ran faster in HS.
I still think if there is no Covid in 2020....Nico sets the 2 mile HS record and Jace Aschbrenner goes sub 8:40 in the 3200. Maybe that's just me though.
Jace going 8:44 was a big outlier performance. If you had replayed that race or than whole season the exact same way 9 times out of 10 he wouldn't have been able to do that. 8:44 for a top 20 NXN guy is the norm now but it was a huge performance back then.
Nico got 4th at NCAA xc as a freshman yet none of the other top Newbury Park runners from high school seem to be able to be competitive in NCAA xc races
but MEN and WOMEN think very differently. not to diss any specific gender, but maybe dating one would be easier than the other when on a heavy workload commitment, just saying.
Stanford has a great coach. He produced Stanford's FIRST EVER NCAA XC CHAMPION with Hicks. Lananna couldn't do it, Gerard couldn't do it, Milt couldn't do it.
Ky Robinson then won the 10k and 5k outdoors. Hicks 2nd in the 10k.
He literally coached the 2 best distance runners in the NCAA last year.

Santos also coached Iona to top 10 in the NCAA 8 times. That's extremely impressive for a tiny school.
Let’s not forget another NCAA champion coached by Stanford’s current coach when he was at Iona, Kate Avery. The Stanford coach has a better record than 99.9% of the coaches on here.

What does this even mean? 9 times out of 10? Well he did run 8:44 off of an very limited track schedule with no Arcadia or a full schedule of these meets designed for fast times. How could not having these opportunities have helped him out?

100% Nico goes sub 4 and sub 8:30 without COVID. Probably gets Rupp's 5k record as well in a college/pro race

100% please, there's probably 50% chance he'd accomplish nothing of note in his senior track season and then a 90% chance to fail to do as well in college as he has.
The reality is that they are all young (no pun intended). It's absolutey impossible to predict who will be the strongest in 3 or 4 years. And the bump up in distance from high school to college is huge, so it could take a year or two to get adjusted. But they're *all* talented runners. Barring injury, they could all have successful collegiate careers.
True, but all the gay dudes I've known that have tried dating women in the past have said that men are a lot easier in terms of dating whether it is serious or just for fun. There are cons definitely, but it is less stressful because the mentality and expectations coming in are very similar.
