Not even joking I know by slow you think I said something like 24 min or 21 min but no as a female today I ran a 29 minute one. Got passed 3 mins by a girl I usually beat. The course was on Nevada very very hilly. I was 156th out of 190th it sucks.
Last time I ran a 26 minute 5k. People were laughing as I run struggling like I’m dying it’s been 2 months since I started running and I only cut my mile time by 1-2 minute 10 min to -7:30 that’s just about it people start with 5 minutes. I like it so much but I don’t want to be delusional. Is it good to back out now than later because yesterdays race my running. Also I get injured a lot first I stupidly rolled my ankle then I sprained my knee. What sports would be better for my pace
Do you enjoy running? If so keep running.
Try a wide variety of sports. You might find another you have more success at.
But also running is something you can do if you enjoy it and keep doing for the rest of your life (with exceptions). It is ok to do things you like even if you are not winning or the best at them.
