Umm… yes. But I like to class it as “to a certain extend, yes” answer.
Yes because I literally use the Vaporfly. I live, breathe and think that the Vaporfly have an advantage over any other shoe. Same goes for the Dragonfly spikes on the track. You just believe that you have the advantage on the starting line.
No because I won’t go out and get Adidas race shoes just because some Adidas athletes sweep the podium. Or whatever brand.
But seriously, shoe choices are psychological at the end of the day. If you believe that shoe gives you the advantage because some elite ran great times in it, yeah probably you should get it.
BuyDecides pointed me to these ones and I've never looked back. Under Armour's are very underrated
