OAC IS SO DIRTY ITS ALL RITZ HE IS PUMPING MONSON AND ROMO AND YARID AND ALL OF THEM FULL OF GREY AREA STUFF! HE BACKED OFF THE MICRODOSEING BEFORE WORLDS AND THATS WHY NONE OF HIS ATHLETES METALED! HE LEARNED A LOT FROM SALIDBAR
He ran 4:06 sr year (outdoor 2017), down to 3:54 sr (indoor 22). this is a 12 second improvement. but from indoor 22 to late outdoor 23, he has improved ELEVEN SECONDS!!!!!!!

If you want to believe he's clean, do it. If you want to believe he isn't, do it. What we believe has no bearing on what is.
He ran 3:34 completely solo in May 2021. He closed a 3:35 race in 52/1:49 in June 2021. Acting like it's a surprise that he's a sub-3:30 guy now is disingenuous.
Sub 330 is not 343. No one expected this kind of breakthrough. Top 10 in the world, sure, maybe, but challenging for the world record, no, its a historic improvement.
This is a false dilemma. Other than indoors, how often is the mile contested outdoors in the NCAA?

I just checked tfrrs to see how many outdoor miles Nuguse competed in while at Notre Dame. He competed in grand total of ZERO.
You’re not being honest when you say that you want to believe that he is clean. In actuality, you’re hoping he isn’t and that he gets popped.

I've seen a world top-30 middle distance man stagnate then regress over a three year period, due to a combination of attending a rigorous university and having obligations to his club team in addition to his training and running in big meets. This happened in a European country. Overwork and burnout is a real thing.

Someone has to do it and there always will be someone who does it. He looks legit, is training at altitude for the first time, has no more school work, is eating better and has a great coach. Living in a nice quiet area with clean air also helps. All the factors have fallen in place for him since leaving school.

And to add to that, last week he improved 0 seconds in the mile, and this week he improved 4 seconds.

Agreed. Also, he's kind of a gangly guy. I've seen athletes like that in the past who continue to physically mature and strengthen in college making very impressive gains.

And if he gets his teeth into alignment, I'd expect even more improvement with the elimination of significant aerodynamic drag.
He’s at altitude now and has time to actually recover and fuel properly. In a recent podcast he talked about how he was big into studying in college and it sounded like he didn’t really have time to recover. He’s also on a different training plan now. Sounds similar to Grant Fisher in that respect.
Yared isn’t at the top of my list for suspected American dopers. And I’m not someone who believes everyone is clean. I do not believe for a second that Bernard Lagat was clean, or Abdi. And my hunch is that Shelby was taking something gray zone that she can’t admit to.
