I'm ok with crossfit people saying they are the fittest in the world. I'd also be ok with someone self-proclaiming they are the best cyclist in the world if they won the tour, and am ok when Kobe Bryant would call himself the best basketball player in the world. Those terms and beliefs are all subjective. Heck, I'd be ok with Tyreek Hill calling himself the fastest in the world, but am not ok with him calling himself the 100m world champion. "World Champion" in my mind is not a subjective term.
