Ten years later, Pamela Jelimo has received an upgrade of her fourth place finish at the London Olympic Games in 2012 when she was awarded bronze after Mariy...
Moraa is a massive problem for Keely and Mu. It's hard to see how to beat her unless one of them can get so fit they can do a Rudisha. It's freakish that she can surge multiple times in an 800. I hope Trevor Painter and Bobby Kersee have some time on their hands because they have a lot of work to do figuring out Moraa for Paris

I thought that Mu/Keely might keep it under 1:56 to take it out of Moraa. If she is hanging around off the last turn; she's the favorite.

Moraa's run was clearly worth sub 1:56, if Mu hadn't made her run so wide.

Isn't this the first time she's beaten Mu?
Yeah, but Mu doesn't race so it's hard for anyone to establish a record against her. Mu is 2-1 up h2h but both those were last year when Moraa was still new to the 800.
Mary should be able to run 1.56 (or faster) off a 50xx 400m. It is why Keely is still trying to get her 400m down. Both Reekie and Tracey have run 3.58 this year, but lack the speed of the first 3 (or Rogers for that matter) and it shows at the end of the race. Great that Mu ran 4.03, but her 400m isn't getting better because Kersee doesn't want her racing the event against Syd (bad move!!). No reason why she can't get faster at it like Mary and Kelly are doing at her age.
Mortimer & Randolph Duke yesterday told you Mary Moraa was going to win tonight. Maybe the next time Mortimer & Randolph have something to say, you'll pay attention!
This is the problem. So many Kenyan drug cheats recently that I cannot wholeheartedly accept this. We get all excited now to go 7 months in the future to see she is popped.
Kenya has a long history of men winning medals in the 800.
Jelimo and Wambui for two.
Jelimo has given birth.
Nope, Jelimo has never given birth.
Can you prove that Jelimo has given birth? Of course you can't, because it never happened. That's just a rumor started by Kenyan supporters who like to make things up.
Jelimo does have a few kids, but they are adopted.
This absolutely confirms we are within a new doping era that is undetectable with current tech. They way she celebrated at the end—-she was like barely tired. Ok…
