He's been backing up the arrogant talk. Villain or hero he controls the game right now. It's his show and he's doing what he wants with it. Sure this will make it sweeter if someone takes him down... but no doubt we are seeing a guy with extraordinary confidence who seems to be getting bored of the competition. Even if he was slapping the other runners on the face on live TV or spitting on them- none seem to be able to step up their game to threaten him. Either you want to watch him to win, to get beaten, or to make history. It doesn't matter, you will watch him and you will talk about him.
