Nah. The issue of doping is now out in the open. No matter the results, the narrative has been established.
Narrative? That priceless ignorance. You think it's the narrative because you hang out here with the other doping dunces.
There will be desperate threads here, and some desperate posts on social media. Those numbers are absolutely dwarfed by everything else, the real world.
The commentators on Wiley's race tonight were not pathetic cynics. Nor in her next race. The topic isn't even contemplated. People who tune in won't know or care. They will embrace the effort they are watching and applaud the person doing it.
And the so-called narrative here gets steadily cleansed away via praise and upvotes, as the doping dunces sit in the corner and tantrum toward what went wrong.
It was amateur hour with the camera work. The feed blanked out a couple of times and there wasn't a finish line camera. Boo. Also, what's up with the tight turns? Not a fast course for sure.
Oh please. You are one of the more committed doping apologists on this board. When a thread was started a few weeks back about Chemusto's sudden emergence as a 1500m contender, there you were saying her massive improvement was completely understandable, that doping could not possibly have been involved. Someone who makes such a complete fool of himself has no business calling people "dunces" or "ignorant" on the subject. Between rational cynicism and stupidity, I will go with the former.
Dwarfed by what? Barely anyone cares about these races outside of a few track fans. And happily those that are paying attention have mentioned the overriding scandal and questioned the results. Here, despite the attempts to drown out the subject, and better still, on social media. Oh, so the race commentators did not discuss the scandal? Well then. Do they ever? They are just calling the race.
Finally, upvotes here? Lolll. Someone has not been paying attention.

Do you and gorun and other effing losers just hang around with nothing to day and then pounce on any Addy Wile thread with accusations of her doping? Do you have nothing to do? You guys are as pathetic as they come. Your only thing in life is trashing a young lady who competes in track. Just pathetic.
I’ll answer for them. Yes. They are 40yr old virgins that live in their mom’s basement. It’s sad.

You really think only one person, who is using a VPN, dislikes you and your posts?
You are deluded. And you are disliked by most people here.

Are you not embarrassed that you are over half the posts in this thread and the other AW thread? It’s extremely embarrassing so you should be.
Many more Americans will follow the sport when a humble, intelligent, attractive, young American runs with the best in the world. Addy is that person to do it next year.

Who are all these folks who like these Addy Wiley posts? Is it the same two people doing all the upvoting?
I personally think she's caught in a tough space, and hope she gets out of it.
Didn’t she get herself there?
She has won more races than any other American this year. Yes she got herself to that place.

I’m sure the Johnson’s make great pre-race burritos
The more we have to watch the sadder it becomes. When it implodes all the stupid "the future is so bright I gotta wear shades!" people are going to be hanging their heads with shame.
Addy deserves better from all of you.

You’re literally the one including that in this thread. You’re pushing that narrative haha. You remind me of Jim Lahey from Trailer Park Boys…some dude that thinks he’s a cop but doesn’t actually know anything at all. Clean is clean!

not here for the trashing but it's still to just ignore that there are very serious abuse allegations hanging around Addy's coaches.
You must not be watching the same person as us. She ran 1:59 then won the road mile. She just keeps getting better. This woman is intelligent and mature and ridiculously fast. Yet a few here can't stand that she is so much better than Tuohy. It is bizarre.

This has nothing to do with Tuohy who will likely not even specialize in the same events as Addy.
What I can't stand is that as a child, she got tangled up with abusive manipulative coaches who have admitted to serious abuse and kidnapping of a minor. That there is a good chance doping is heavily involved not based on fruitless accusations but on credible allegations from former athletes and people who knew them well.
What I can't stand is that every time she runs fast we forget that those allegations and admissions happened or that by her own admission she is still very close with at least one of the coaches, thus probably still caught in that web. That we aren't just watching a fast runner or someone with 'poise' we are watching a teenager who clearly did not have the support or resources to free herself of dangerous people. And that so any adults are willing to look the other way and wax poetic about her 'potential' completely forgetting that this is a human being who probably needs help.
