since everyone says 3:26.85 converted is invalid, doesn't that mean the website has invalid claims? hence stupid website.
it can make a prediction but if everyone discredits it, then there's no point to it.
No. The site appropriately estimates what an equivalent time would be at another distance. That is not an en-route split. It is doing what it states (and doing it well) while you are conflating conversions to en-route times which is stupid.

No sht. You don't end up at a top 5 all time list from a conversion. The webside can claim whatever it want, is is only dumbasses that thinks the conversion means anything.
does anyone believe that Noah Ngeny's true potential (3:26.85 converted) is valid?
seems like everyone says it is a bogus conversion.
thought the website does conversions well though?
Start your own thread about that conversion and I am sure thousands will flock to it. What is bogus is saying Jakob Would be top 5 not top 4 because of it.

Its not a bogus conversion, that seems perfectly valid. What people are saying is that you can't take a converted time and just drop it on an all-time list for a different event. I don't think anyone doubts that Ngeny could have run 3:26.8 had that Rome Mile race been a 1,500m.

Ngeny has a 24years WR in the 1000, beat once ElG in Olympics and less than 0.5 sec from WR in the mile, being faster that anybody else ever, including, Morceli (3.27 guy), Cram, Komen, Jakob etc. Why would you think 3.26 high is not legit?
Jakob Ingebrigtsen easily wins the men's 1500m at Diamond League Silesia, becoming the third-fastest man in history in the metric mile. #NBCSports #TrackandF...
